Immerse yourself in an Edwardian atmosphere as author Maureen Jennings explores her literary depiction of early 19th century Toronto in her latest novel Let Darkness Bury the Dead.

The latest Murdoch Mystery is set in the Ward neighborhood of Toronto in 1917. Fans of the books will be reunited with William Murdoch and introduced to his son Jack. Jack has returned from the Front with a war wound and a troubled conscience. Of course there is a crime to solve and lots of familiar Toronto locations.

The Schoolhouse will have a few reproduction costumes on display based on theme of WWI. Great War Cake and other refreshments will be served in the schoolhouse following Ms. Jennings’ talk.
