The Swansea Historical Society, in collaboration with its partners La Société d’Histoire de TorontoThe York Pioneer and Historical SocietyThe West Toronto Junction Historical SocietyHeritage YorkKing Township Historical SocietyArts Society King, and The McMichael Canadian Art Collection, with funding support from the Government of Canada, is pleased to announce the return of WALK THE SIX WEST to the banks of the Humber River this August 2019!

Walk along the shared path and witness the magic of outdoor theatre as we celebrate the diverse human history of the Humber River. Discover six theatrical installations sharing Indigenous, Francophone, and Newcomer stories of the Humber River region. Featuring performances by Mixed Company Theatre, Ars Musica, Jason Wilson’s Sumach Roots, Cheri Maracle, Erika MacNeil with Eric Cadesky, and more.

This family-friendly and accessible event is FREE and OPEN to all members of the public.
