WWI KEEPSAKES & PROPAGANDA exhibit opens on Saturday, November 10 at 2 p.m., at Don Heights Unitarian Congregation, 18 Wynford Drive, Suite 102, Don Mills.
This rare viewing of museum-quality artifacts from The Great War marks the 100-year anniversary of the Armistice, the signing of the peace treaty.
You are invited to a reception to kick-off the exhibit’s three-week run, which will end on November 30. It is open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays and on weekdays for pre-booked tours that can be arranged by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Reception guests are encouraged to bring their own WWI treasures with them to show off as conversation pieces during the mix and mingle portion of the afternoon. Besides the historic display, there will be a slide show, music, a captivating talk by historian Alan Acheson and refreshments.
Kindly RSVP to email@example.com indicating the number of guests in your party.
