OHS Dorothy Duncan Public History Award Honourable Mention to Willow Theatre Project

The Ontario Historical Society is pleased to present an Honourable Mention in the Dorothy Duncan Award category to the  Willow Theatre Project, a documentary exploring the history of The Willow Theatre, the first movie theatre in North York. This documentary was produced by the Youth Committee of the North York Historical Society. This student documentary blends historic images, artifacts, interviews, and more into an engaging and interesting 30-minute visual presentation recounting the colourful history of The Willow Theatre.  

For the significant effort that the Youth Committee put forward, and the quality of the finished product created, the Ontario Historical Society is pleased to present this Honourable Mention in the Dorothy Duncan Award to the Willow Theatre Project.
