The Ontario Historical Society’s Cruikshank Medal is presented on rare occasions to individuals who have performed with distinction on behalf of the Society. This year, the Ontario Historical Society is proud to recognize Geoff and Edith Geduld with this honour.
The Gedulds have worked in close partnership with the Ontario Historical Society for over thirty years. Geoff served as a Director on the Ontario Historical Society’s board and both Edith and Geoff have served as Presidents of the North York Historical Society, an organization that has worked closely with the OHS for decades. Since 1978, they have been involved in virtually all of the efforts to preserve the significant heritage structures of North York, including Milne House, Gibson House, Green Meadows, and of course, the John McKenzie House.
Please see the Ontario Historical Society press release below for more information.
Congratulations, Edith & Geoff!
